I have been experimenting with digital painting so I tried working on this image of the bald eagle I posed several weeks ago.  I am trying to figure out how to convert my photographs into paintings that have a look and feel of the old naturalists paintings.  This is not quite what I envision, but I think I am making progress.

For quite some time I have had some interest in learning to paint, but I never had the time or the talent to do so.  These days there are a number of techniques to create digital paintings and this posted image is my first attempt to use a program called Painter.
