The Huntington Library and Gardens is a wonderful place to visit.  The gardens are a extensive as they are beautiful.  Cynde and I went one Sunday afternoon, we wandering around the Japanese and Chinese gardens taking many different photos.  It was a very nice afternoon and we took lots of photos.  My only complaint about the Huntington is they close much to early.  I really enjoy the early light and late light neither of which are possible at the gardens.  As I took this photo I was being told by one of the guards telling me to keep moving towards the entrance.

I think the photo was well worth me stopping and being urged to keep moving towards the entrance.

In early January Cynde and I got up early to photograph a couple bridges.  The morning was quite foggy and we got there a little later than I wanted as I would have liked to photo the Seco Arroyo bridge with all of the interesting lamp posts when they were on.  We spent a while here looking around and I finally after looking around for a little while I found this photo.  This photo is of the supporting structure for the 210 freeway in Pasadena.

I really enjoy wandering around Pasadena City Hall, it has been recently remodeled from what I understand.  For me though the city hall has always looked like this.  There is an interesting peaceful courtyard that is surrounded by the building.  There are a number of towers in this building and this photo is one such tower.  I really like the fluffy clouds in the sky as that to my mind adds more interest to the sky, and I love the different architectural details in the building.

Cynde and I went to Pasadena City Hall to take a few photos one Sunday afternoon.  As evening started the lights came on in this hallway and was amazed at the colors and the over all look.  The hallway reminded me of a scene from a heroic fantasy novel where the hero is looking for some artifact.  This hallway looks friendly but has a mysterious feel to it   The caution signs on the floor lend some foreshadowing if one walks down the hallway and walks through the door.
